Alex Dreppec

Alex Dreppec (born 1968) holds a doctorate in psychology and worked as a vocational school teacher. He published numerous texts, including works of poetry and writing on science. In 2004, he won the Wilhelm Busch Prize, taking first place. Dreppec is credited with inventing the Science Slam, which subsequently spread internationally; his friend Axel Röthemeyer co-moderated it from the beginning.
