Alberto Vigevani (1918–1999) was an Italian writer, publisher, and bookseller from Milan. After a brief period of study in Grenoble, he opened the bookstore La Lampada, which became a meeting place for opponents of the Fascist regime. He lived in exile in Switzerland from 1943 to 1945. In the late 1940s, he established a publishing house of the same name alongside his later bookstore, Il Polifilo. In addition to his memoirs, Erinnerungen eines bibliophilen Buchhändlers, he published several novels, short stories, and volumes of poetry.
