Alberto Acosta

Alberto Acosta served as president of Ecuador’s Constituent Assembly and was the country’s minister of energy and mining until 2008. In this role, he played a significant part in incorporating the concept of “Buen vivir” into Ecuador’s constitution. He also taught economics at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) in Quito.
