Adrienne Brodeur worked for eight years as an editor at the New York publishing house Harcourt Houghton Mifflin. She served as executive director of the literary nonprofit Aspen Words and co-founded the literary magazine «Zoetrope: All-Story» with Francis Ford Coppola. She was also a National Book Award judge. Her essays appeared in publications including «Vogue» and «The New York Times». Her memoir «Wild Game» became a «New York Times» bestseller.
