Abak Safaei-Rad was born in Cologne in 1974 and trained in acting at the University of Music and Drama Hannover, graduating in 1999. From 2019 onward, she was a member of the ensemble at Berlin’s Maxim Gorki Theatre. As an actor, she appeared in films including *Die Saat* and *Futur 3*. She also contributed as a voice artist to numerous audiobook and radio-play productions, including *Die Bücherfrauen*.
