I don’t know why, but I just wasn’t that invested in the characters. I liked them, but didn’t really feel them the way I wanted to. BUT I really loved the dual love story and following Noelle’s whole journey—there were so many sweet little moments. Paul and Theo’s relationship - wow.

Als ich "You, with a View" in den sozialen Medien entdeckt habe, hat mich irgendetwas an dem Cover angezogen, ich musste es mir einfach ein wenig näher anschauen. Als ich den Klapptext dann gelesen habe, stand für mich schnell fest, das ich das Buch lesen möchte. Als ich dann aber eine Hörprobe gehört habe, habe ich mich doch lieber für das Hörbuch entscheiden, und das auch nicht eine Sekunde lang bereut. Die Hörbuchsprecherin hat einen wirklich tollen Job gemacht, ich hatte sehr viel Freude ihr zuzuhören. Das Setting fand ich richtig toll und mal etwas anderes. Ich weiß nicht ob ich auf so eine Idee gekommen wäre, wie Noelle, wenn ich auf einen alten Liebesbrief von meiner Oma gestoßen wäre, aber das liegt wahrscheinlich daran, das ich nicht so ein Verhältnis zu ihr hatte wie sie zu ihrer Grams. Aber auch bei den anderen zeigt es sich das es meistens nicht so ist, wie es auf den ersten Blick wirkt, und man doch mehr miteinander reden sollte. Es gab eine Szene zum Ende des Buches, da hatte ich wirklich Tränen in den Augen... was für ein Heiratsantrag, so schön 😍😍. Der Schreibstil hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war zwar mein erstes Buch doch ganz bestimmt nicht mein Letztes. Er ist bildhaft, mitreißend und macht einfach nur Spaß. Dankeschön das ich es hören durfte. Nachdem Noelle ein altes Foto und einen Liebesbrief, der nicht von ihrem Großvater stammt, ihrer Grams findet, versucht sie mit einem TikTok Video den Mann zu finden. Als sich ein Mann meldet und sagt, das sei sein Großvater, kann sie es erst nicht glauben, denn Theo ist ein ehemaliger Klassenkamerad und Konkurrent von ihr. Doch auf einem verrückten Roadtrip kommen sich die Beiden schnell näher, hat Theo sich wirklich geändert??

Some books have the potential to make me question all ratings of all the books I’ve ever read. How could I have ever given 5 stars to other books, when this one exists?? If they’ve been five stars, this is at least seven. THIS WAS SOO GOOD AND SWEET AND EMOTIONAL. AND AMAZING BANTER FLIRTING AND TEASING. I had a giant smile plastered on my face the entire time reading this book. This read like the love child between the writing style and meaningfulness of an Emily Henry novel and the heartwarmingly sweet romance with great banter from an Ali Hazelwood romance. Two authors I absolutely adore. Therefore clearly a winning concept - at least it won me over. I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to read whatever Jessica Joyce publishes next. I’m a big fan now. drop everything you are doing and currently reading. THIS. IS. THE. ONE. It’s mandatory. Start right now. This book is the embodiment of a sweet wholesome romance: amazing characters + unique and captivating story + phenomenal and adorable romance. And some tears. Definitely among my favorite romances of the year. I just had such a great time with this. 5
