Rezension von 4,5 Sterne⭐️ | Das Buch hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Ich liebe Hollywood-Geschichten and that’s how you write one! Gegen Ende gab es einen Twist, der mich etwas gestört hat, aber all in all, ist das ein gelungenes Buch mit viel Humor und, in meinen Augen, tollen Charakteren.

Rezension von KatesBooklightsMan muss sich auf die verschiedenen Zeitebenen und Textarten einlassen und den Charakteren ein bisschen Zeit geben, bis man sie wirklich verstanden hat. Aber dann ist dieses Buch etwas ganz besonderes. Vor allem weil man die Geschichte zwischen Chani und Gabe auf so unterschiedliche Arten erfährt, wurde ich von den Emotionen geradezu überrollt. Ich übertreibe nicht, wenn ich sage, dass ich mit dieser Geschichte alle Gefühle durchgemacht habe. Ich habe gelacht, geweint und bin verzweifelt. Und genau so etwas habe ich mal wieder gebraucht. Deswegen liebe ich das Lesen so. Und auch wenn ich Ende in seiner Einfachheit geschätzt habe, war ich doch auf eine Art enttäuscht, weil ich gerne noch mehr gelesen und noch mehr Zeit mit den Figuren verbracht hätte. Aber genauso wie die Artikel, die immer wieder im Buch vorkommen, hat die Geschichte nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt des Ganzen gezeigt und an der perfekten Stelle einen cut gesetzt. Wie man merkt, bin ich wirklich hellauf begeistert. Für mich ist der Stil der Autorin so einnehmen und besonders gewesen und wurde so gezielt eingesetzt, dass ich fast versucht war, mein eigenes Schreibprojekt wieder aufleben zu lassen. Soweit ist es nicht gekommen, ich habe aber direkt ein weiteres Buch von ihr bestellt. Mal schauen, wie sehr mich das dann umhauen wird.
