Reviewed by Effi PriestMindblowing. Ein mitreißender Fantasy-Roman, der Onyesunwu bei ihrem Quest gegen die Wunden der Vergangenheit begleitet. Die fiktive Landschaft & Klima sind total plastisch beschrieben. Ich hatte beim Lesen teils das Gefühl, ich schlafe im Zelt nebenan. Und wollte ein Teil ihrer Ally gegen das Böse sein. Der Beweis dafür, dass Fiktion und Fantasy die einzigen Genres sind, um so schwierige Themen wie rape und male traditional African culture anzusprechen und zu überwinden. Yes she/we can.
