I really loved the book and I'm thrilled to read the second. It has so many layers and things happening parallel which keeps it interesting. The characters are so nicely written with negative and positive characteristics which makes their actions unpredictable.

I never read a book by Cassandra Clare, so I don’t have anything to compare. Reading sword catcher I really liked the political intrigues and the world building. I loved Connor, but wished for a little bit more romance in these 600+ pages. Maybe I get it in the next book.

Engaging read (for me) but many off putting stereotypes about pseudo fictional culture/countries. Also all characters are beautiful and slim. And too many bosoms are pressed into tight garments, not to forget very weird kind of unmotivated romances.

This was a rollercoaster of emotions and i need the sequel like yesterday
