Reviewed by kristina So. Much. Happened. Turns I didn’t expect, heartbreaking revelations and reunions of almost every side character since book 1. Everything is coming together latterly like a puzzle. The author is so good! My favorite moments: Page 118: Xie Lian transmits message to Huacheng white being held “at gun point” by Jun Wu. San Lang: "Gege, gege! It's been so long. You've finally remembered San Lang.” Xie Lian: “San Lang, it hasn't even been two hours since I left." San Lang: "To me, the point is that you left, not that you've only been gone two hours. Even for an instant, separation is separation." Me: (ಥ_ಥ) __________________________ Page 166: Xie Lian looks out the window of his heavenly palace where he is being held captive and notices someone Hua Cheng: “Gege, my dear gege. This time, seeing you is as hard as ascending to the heavens” __________________________ Page 184 - 185: Where Xie Lien tries to find the Brocade Immortal and puts on different robes while Hua Cheng gives orders to him.
