A Cozy and Captivating Read – Hate Mail by Donna Marchetti Hate Mail by Donna Marchetti is the kind of book that draws you in from the very first page and wraps you in a warm reading embrace. Despite a title that might suggest drama or conflict, the story unfolds with a gentle charm that made it a truly cosy read for me. Marchetti’s writing strikes the perfect balance between witty banter and heartfelt introspection, giving the characters depth while making their interactions feel delightfully familiar — like catching up with old friends. The pacing is steady, never rushed, allowing moments of humor and emotion to land with satisfying weight. What stood out most was how effortlessly the book managed to blend lighthearted moments with genuine character growth. It kept me smiling, turning pages, and genuinely invested in seeing the story through. While not groundbreaking, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read that I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for an uplifting and comforting story. If you’re in the mood for something that’s both engaging and cozy, Hate Mail is a great pick — a solid 4-star read that leaves you feeling good long after you’ve finished it.

Such a feel good romance. I love the letters from their childhood. Even though I knew that he was Luca I really enjoyed the story. I felt the connection between the main characters and fell in love with them. It is my new feel good book and I am going to reread it in the summer time. The letters were so funny and I caught myself smiling and giggling the whole time. The whole plane thing was so funny as well. So I really loved the book. Every romance lover needs to read this book. Also the cover is sooooo cute.
