Reviewed by Luzie💕🪷this book just shows why Wei Wuxian became a demonic cultivator. not everything is revealed(obviously, there are more books) and not everything is resolved(poor Lan Wangji), but things slowly start to unravel and get going. A lot of this book was backstory, which is important in the long run, but I have to say that out of every book in this series that I have read, this took me the longest. But if is still such a great book with a gripping story, and after the 2/3 mark things started to pick up again
