Reviewed by Julia First of all: Ich habe Gothikana gerne gelesen. Es war gut geschrieben, kurzweilig und ich fand die beigefügte Playlist hat die Stimmung des Buches gut gespiegelt. Allerdings war das Buch sehr spicy, leider hat dadurch die Story gelitten...denn die kam einfach zu kurz, obwohl sie Potential hatte. Es ist eigentlich ein Einzelband, allerdings wird es wohl ein Prequel geben und es zumindest auch ein Folge-Roman möglich - das halte ich allerdings für unwahrscheinlich. Leider wurden nicht alle Geheimnisse gelüftet und Fragen beantwortet 😕 das ist schade.

Reviewed by Amelia Rozegnal3.5⭐️ i have mixed feelings about this one. i don’t particularly like the professor x student trope, so that might be it. but also the writing came off weird at times even tho i love runyx‘s writing in the dark verse series. i liked the first and last quarter. in between i was a bit underwhelmed tho. conclusion: dark verse is better (subjectively. have not finished the series yet tho. i’m not ready)
