Rezension von JoanneDeep End was… fine. A chill read that doesn’t ask too much of your brain. But when you dive a little deeper (pun intended) it felt like something was missing. The supposedly kinky stuff? Pretty darn vanilla. And yes, the book makes fun of Fifty Shades of Grey, but somehow ends up swimming in the same pool anyway. Vandy’s “friendship” with Pen felt more like casual small talk at a bus stop than anything meaningful. And the romance? Let’s just say it didn’t exactly sweep me off my feet. Also, for a book that’s supposedly all about swimming and diving, there wasn’t nearly enough depth (yes, another pun). The technical talk was barely there, and the conflicts were solved faster than I can say “cannonball”.
Rezension von BellaIch bin absolut geschockt davon, wie wahnsinnig gut mir dieses Buch gefallen hat. Ich habe es wirklich gar nicht kommen sehen. Es war erst mein zweiter Ali Hazelwood Roman und wow. 2 Bücher, 2 mal 5 Sterne. YES PLEASE 🥰 der Spice in dem Buch ist sicherlich Geschmackssache, aber alles andere … wenn einen das nicht mitreißt, dann weiß ich auch nicht: Scarlett & Lukas waren tolle, tiefgründige Protagonisten, denen ich noch weitere 100 Seiten hätte zuhören können 🫶🏻

Rezension von April OttingerI absolutely love Hazelwoods' ways of writing and how she can bring humor to the page. This was a little more.... Spicy than I'm used to, but it didn't take away from the story at all for me. I found myself smiling and laughing quite a bit while both reading myself and listening to the audiobook while in the car.
Rezension von AlyssaEs war toll. Es war perfekt! Aber ich muss sagen pen ist mit irgendwann auf die Nerven gegangen. Ich hab richtig mitgefühlt und mochte sie irgendwann nicht mehr. Auch wenn ich am Ende sehr Mitleid mit ihr hatte.
