Ich konnte mich weniger in sie reinfühlen und hatte das Gefühl, als würden sie weniger dreidimensional in ihren Handlungen und Emotionen sein. >> Nochmal lesen?: 0,5 << Kommt auf den Rest der Reihe an, aber ich schließe es nicht aus.

It was amazing, overwhelmed and beautiful, every part was so good, the characters were incredible, Matthew, Cordelia, James, Lucie, Thomas, Anna, Christopher steal my heart and i want to protect them from everything. I need the second book already.
Reviewed by AnsoChoG has the same issues as I has with QoAaD, too many povs and thus it's simply too long and detailed. and while I am invested in the relationships (of course I am, I love angst and those books are always angsty af) I'd be more invested if I weren't bored for at least 1/3 of the book. I just don't get it - why does every side character need a pov? and I read that Grace will have a pov as well in the next one. so yay, even more povs. why? I don't need 10+ narrators. I want to read a book about James, Cordelia and Lucie. Those three are the core, the story revolves around them. so why do we also need paragraphs from Tatiana, Matthew, Thomas, Anna, Magnus Bane, pretty sure there was something from Alastair and/or Christopher in there as we somewhere? if now I'm sure it will follow in the next one. So sure, I'll read Chain of Iron when it comes out. am I hyped for it? not at all. but I do live for the last 19th century dramatics. and dear lord, this book is so overly dramatic it borders on ridiculous. if I were still a teenager I'd probably still love it. it's definitely a mood.
