Reviewed by Raphaela Das... Buch kann man die 19 Seiten ja eigentlich nicht nennen. Also was immer das ist, ist eine Frechheit. Ja, die Geschichte, wie die beiden Autoren sich kennengelernt haben, ist ganz nett und auch die Antwort wieso es Pendergast nicht in die Verfilmung geschafft hat und es bisher auch keine weiteren Adaptionen gibt, ist durchaus interessant. Bedenkt man aber, dass diese kleine Info 3,20€ gekostet hat, eine Summe für die man ganze Romane bekommt, vergeht einem die Freude schnell. Zur Figur des Agent Pendergast gibt es nichts neues. Im Gegenteil, man hat sich nichtmal die Mühe gemacht, den zum Zeit Zeitpunkt des Erscheinen des eBooks aktuellen Kenntnisstand zu nutzen. Die Informationen in diesem 2022 erstmalig erschienen eBook enden bei der Diogenes Triologie, deren letzter Band 2006 erschien. Vieles um das in diesem "Mystery Profile" ein Rätsel gemacht wird, ist Lesern und Fans schon seit Jahren bekannt. Hier wurden (ur)alte Interviews der Autoren für einen schnellen Cashgrab verarbeitet, um interessierten Lesern ein paar Euro aus der Tasche zu ziehen.
