Jin Haritaworn

Jin Haritaworn ist Associate Professor für Gender, Race and Environment an der York University in Toronto. Haritaworns Forschung und Lehre befassen sich mit Gender, Sexualität und Transgender Studies, Critical Race and Ethnic Studies sowie Stadtforschung. Zu den Schwerpunkten gehören Gay Imperialism, Homonationalismus, queere Gentrifizierung und Kriminalisierung sowie trans- und queer-of-color-Räume. Haritaworn ist Autor von „Queer Lovers and Hateful Others: Regenerating Violent Times and Places“ (2015) und Mitherausgeber von „Queer Necropolitics“ (2014) sowie „Queering Urban Justice: Queer of Colour Formations in Toronto“ (2018). Zudem war Haritaworn an der Produktion von „Marvellous Grounds“ (2018) beteiligt.
