Rezension von AntoniaThis book was absolutely brilliant. The most obvious thing about this book is probably the incredibly well-crafted magic system, it's SO COOL. It blows my mind how the author just came up with these things. He knows exactly when to give you new information to make you understand the world better. The plot is also great, even though it seems as though nothing is really happening at times, there's always this underlying sense of tension, given Vis' situation, and there was no part of this book where I was even slightly bored. James Islington writes characters so well, they feel so real. Vis, Eidhin and Callidus have my heart and I love the way the interact with each other. The ending confused the hell out of me but whatever.
