Desde el comienzo del libro se empieza a notar que la historia se va a enfocar en los personajes y su evolución. Hay cinco personajes principales; Sloane, Arthur, Maisey, Mateo y Greg. Cada uno narra una parte de la historia en determinado momento, haciendo que la historia sea mucho más completa con cada uno de sus aportes. Los personajes resultaron ser muy diferentes entre sí, pero se complementaron muy bien e incluso diría que gracias a esas diferencias, resultaron ser una buena compañía entre ellos. De todos los personajes, mi favorita sin duda fue Maisey por su bondad y transparencia. Inicialmente, Arthur también me estaba gustando por su actitud gruñona (me lo imaginaba como el viejito de UP), pero luego comencé a notar que más que gruñón, era un poco cruel con sus palabras y ahí ya no me gustó tanto. Es la primera vez que leo a esta autora y espero leerla de nuevo, ya que disfruté mucho la historia y me gustó conocer a estos personajes.
