She’s the city girl that refuses to give him the time of day. He’s the cowboy that wants her anyway. The last thing Ada Hart needs is a man to take care of her. Not anymore. After failing out of her interior design program and the disaster that was her short-lived marriage, Ada clawed her way up from her rock bottom. Now, the only person she trusts is herself, and that has gotten her further than other people ever did. She has her own business, and one of the largest ranches in Wyoming just hired her for the most important project of her career. When Ada arrives in Meadowlark, she finds herself in a dive bar where she can’t seem to shake the eyes of a handsome cowboy. When she leads him to the back of the bar, he leaves her with a kiss that most people can only fantasize about. She almost regrets that she’ll never see him again…almost. She definitely isn’t expecting him to be her new boss. Weston Ryder is a happy guy. Even happier now that the mystery woman from the bar is the interior designer for his dream project on his family's ranch. He feels like he hit the jackpot. Too bad she wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Ada is convinced the pull she feels toward Wes will go away, but Wes can’t stop thinking about the way her mouth felt on his. Even though walls are coming down around Rebel Blue, Ada’s walls are firmly in place. Can they make it through this project without giving in? Or will they both put their dreams on the line for a chance at love?

süsse story, gegen den schluss etwas in die länge gezogen. ich mochte Wes sehr!
I'm loving it loudly I've enjoyed this book very much, a little more even than the first one. Ada and Wes were a great example of instant attraction and something more that I won't spoil for those that still want to read "Swift and Saddled". I really don't care if you disagree, argue with a wall. The writing is beautiful and I really enjoyed seeing/exploring those new places. I've loved seeing Baby Blue evolve and Loretta grow up although she's still little (Riley always makes me laugh btw, I won't tell her my full name though cause it would take her a while to adress me). I feel like with every book there is more to see, more to come and I'm excited to see what comes next. Thank you Lyla for taking us back to Rebel Blue, thank you for your creativity, compassion, love and for the piece of you heart that you poured into this book. I will continue loving this loudly. See you next time!
4⭐️
it was cute ngl but also nothing really exciting happened. wes was a loverboy from the start which i loved and i liked ada enough i guess. it felt like her mood switched every two seconds which got a little annoying but it was bearable. i liked the aspect of baby blue and that westons dad gave him a peace of the land. even tho it contained one of ada’s mood swings again - i thought wes waiting at the county line for her to return was cute
3.25/5⭐️ Basically it was pretty sweet. There were just a few parts that annoyed me a bit. It was also a bit flat and not much happened. The "end drama" annoyed me a bit too. The end was still really sweet!
