Rezension von Lisa - ReadsMy first five star Read of 2026 has every reason to be so. "Sadie" the character, as well as the book, made me revisit and relive all the reasons I hate and fear men. As the blurp on the back says: It will haunt you long after you reach the final page. I couldn't think of a more truer description for this reading experience. The originally crafted story of a girl saving and avenging the lives and minds of many young children will always stick with me. After the day I finished this I will never stop griefing all the kids and women that felt so small when they should feel nothing but joyful and free. Thank you Courtney Summer for your amazing work that, once again, opened my and many other eyes to the harsh truth of the world and people out there. I am not gonna forget Sadie, ever.
