Rezension von SandyDas Cover von "Pen Pal" wirkte zunächst abschreckend, doch die Geschichte hat mich schnell vom Gegenteil überzeugt. Der Schreibstil ist fesselnd und sorgt dafür, dass man sofort in die Handlung eintaucht und das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen kann. Besonders der starke Mystery- und Suspense-Anteil hat mich begeistert und bis zum Schluss miträtseln lassen. Trotz viel Spice bleibt der Plot im Vordergrund und überzeugt mit mehreren Gänsehautmomenten sowie einem überraschenden Twist. Auch wenn ich zu den Charaktere lange keine Sympathien aufbauen konnte, macht genau das den besonderen Reiz aus und sorgt für ein intensives Leseerlebnis.
