Rezension von AnnikaI usually read books that are 400-500+ pages, so I don’t think this story had to be split into two books—but I have to admit, the first book’s cliffhanger definitely added to the intrigue and plot twist! I really liked this one, though I won’t lie—Calista resisting Hayden so much did get a little frustrating at times. But maybe that’s just me since I don’t usually read books where the FMC pushes back instead of being more submissive. The last few chapters and the ending were my favorite parts! I do wish we had a few more chapters to see protective Hayden during her pregnancy, birth, and maybe even some sweet moments with the baby. That would have been the perfect cherry on top!
