Rezension von MarieI deeply loved this book. It had me smiling and swooning and crying, since there‘s not only a really sweet and funny lovestory (Justin might actually be the greenest flag ever) but also quite a lot of mental health- and family related issues. I thoroughly recommend this book, although, as I‘ve just discovered, reading „Part of your World“ first will give you some full circle moments while reading „Just for the Summer“.

Rezension von CatharinaEin wunderschönes Buch, das direkt ins Herz geht. Berührend und es regt zum Nachdenken an. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen, der keine Seichte Romanze lesen möchte, sondern komplexe Protas mag. Trotzdem bitte die Triggerwarnung beachten.
Rezension von Tara(Achtung, Spoiler!) Nachdem das Buch omnipräsent war, waren meine Erwartungen gigantisch, aber mein Fazit lautet leider: „Joa, ganz süß, aber...“ Der Hype-Zug ist ohne mich abgefahren. Der Einstieg war zwar super humorvoll, doch die coole Idee mit dem „Dating-Fluch“ ging schnell unter. Justin ist die perfekte Green Flag, wirkte auf mich aber fast schon zu glatt konstruiert. Zudem ging mir die Lovestory anfangs viel zu schnell, während das echte Knistern später kaum greifbar war – die beiden wirkten eher durch ihr gemeinsames Trauma verbunden. Emma blieb als Charakter etwas flach und das völlig überdramatisierte Finale, in dem schwere Traumata innerhalb von sechs Monaten quasi „geheilt“ sind, war mir dann einfach zu unrealistisch. Fazit: Eine nette Sommergeschichte mit Tiefgang und tollen Nebencharakteren, die für mich aber einige Längen hatte. Den Hype unterschreibe ich nicht ganz!
