The cover and title kind of led me to believe that this would’ve been way more on the paranormal side of things (which it is), but I think the “dark-romance” side of things took over a bit. Not disappointed tho! I really like Rae and Leon but I hoped to see/learn more about him as a being and of his story. We got snippets and other things were mentioned but I still would’ve liked to see more of him. AND THE FAIRIES !!! U can’t just tell me they’re there but not engage with them or let me get a glimpse of them😔

Rae and Leon’s dynamic is intense, with sizzling chemistry and just the right amount of tension. The plot is suspenseful, the world-building immersive, and the spice level is perfectly balanced. It took me about five days to read, and I’d definitely pick it up again. While a few parts felt slower, overall, it’s a thrilling and steamy read that I’d recommend to any dark romance fan!
