Rezension von Maria Ich kann nicht in Worte fassen, wieso mir dieses Buch so gut gefallen hat. Es ist empowered. Die Geschichten der drei Frauen, die hunderte Jahre auseinander leben, aber sich doch gegenseitig unterstützen und helfen. Die Lebensrealität aller Frauen wird in diesem Buch realischtisch dargestellt. Man kann das handeln der Frauen nachvollziehen und fühlt mit ihnen. Die Charakterentwicklungen sind griffig geschrieben. Definitiv ein Buch dass ich jedem ans Herz legen kann.

Rezension von Aindrea Definitely a page turner. Check trigger warnings, includes rape, abortion, still birth, abuse and more. Beautifully woven story, vivid language and kept me guessing. An easy and enjoyable read with good pacing. The present day character Kate feels a bit hollow and I would have loved if the author bulked her out the way she did with the other two female characters in her family. A good, easy read.
