Through hyper-real virtual reality simulations, they can experience nightmarish events happening to other people. One of the best thrillers of the recent past. Very fast paced but incredibly exciting. A very nice plot so intelligently executed. Josh Silver really kept me on the Edge of my seat. I have been able to fly through the book and finished it in one day. Read it!

gonna stare at the wall for a while, will write a review when I feel like I can form sentences ____ it's been two days and I'm still trying to get a grip. This book is an absolute mindfuck, which is one of my all time favorite genres in books and TV. When buying and starting this book, I did not yet know that it would be that type of book, i just assumed it to be, like, creepy thriller - but oh was i wrong. It's been a long time since I read a Thriller, much longer since I read one this good. To say this was a 5⭐️ read is an understatement and I need a feature for ingraining books into my being. How I felt during the first 100 pages about the book being a little slow? -I WAS PROVEN WRONG AGAIN, Josh just didn't want to throw the brick straight into my face... The plot just kept on giving and I kept wanting like a starved child. Everything in this book was phenomenal! The Build-up? The concept? Traumaland? Nisha? Jack? ELI? All of it, CHEF'S F*CKING KISS!! Even though the last couple chapters made me feel like i was chocking- I LOVED IT! It was sooo not what I was expecting, which made it oh so much better. The very last chapter, though? DIABOLICAL! The realization as a reader as to what was happening??? It was almost too much to bear yet not enough at the same time. Will definitely be re-reading this book later this year! So yeah, with that being said I will now go in search of every word this man has ever put on paper and read it Oh and I can't post this without a little rage spoiler... Lucas and Melinda? You two were made for each other.
