The concept is great however I just can’t stand how it’s written. It’s all over the place in terms of flash backs and conversations. Honestly, the show is about a million times better. I feel like if I didn’t watch the show first, I wouldn’t have been able to follow along in the book. I had to force myself to finish this one. Super bummed.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum :p
We only know what she knows, see what she sees, its all from her point of view and, crucially, we're never sure what is true. But.. If we look at the fragments of this Gilead society. We’re living with them already.
