Rezension von Lutz„Mehr als nur Roommates: Eine herzerwärmende Reise vom Rückzug zum Rampenlicht Time to Shine ist eine süße und leichtfüßige Hockey-Romance die mit intensiven Szenen und einer charmanten Liebesgeschichte punktet. Die Dynamik Zwischen dem grumpy Landon und dem Golden Retriever-artigen Casey ist sehr sÜß und machte Lust darauf mehr zu lesen. Die Charakterentwicklung war auch schön zu beobachten. Von einem Landon, der Berührungen und viele Menschen nicht mag, bis zu einem Casey, der sich alles liefern lässt, statt zu kochen, gibt es eine ganze Menge abenteuerlicher Entwicklungen. Denn am Ende gibt es einen Landon, der eine Weihnachtsparty veranstaltet und Casey vor allen anderen küsst und schließlich einen Casey, der selbst lernt zu kochen, um Landon zu überraschen. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Sprache war zwar "easy", Iocker und leicht, hat mich aber nicht so sehr gefesselt wie ein "episches Werk".
