A. L. Graziadei's Icebreaker is an irresistible YA debut about two hockey players fighting to be the best―and the romance that catches them by surprise along the way.Seventeen-year-old Mickey James III is a college freshman, a brother to five sisters, and a hockey legacy. With a father and a grandfather who have gone down in NHL history, Mickey is almost guaranteed the league's top draft spot. The only person standing in his way is Jaysen Caulfield, a contender for the #1 spot and Mickey's infuriating (and infuriatingly attractive) teammate. When rivalry turns to something more, Mickey will have to decide what he really wants, and what he's willing to risk for it.This is a story about falling in love, finding your team (on and off the ice), and choosing your own path.

Cute book. I enjoyed reading it. Loved the characters and the whole setting.
lucu banget but it has its flaws i didn't like as to how mickey is a character who, well, acts like a * all the time especially with cauler since he always leaves him in the blue, suffering one-sidedly. i disliked that, because he could've been written better as someone with depression but still considerate to, you know, someone he sets his eyes on (cz i know you can be depressed but still considerate to others) also it's good that the ending's left opened, but y'know, i wished it's announced and the epilogue was like the life of the duo after one of their name's announced. idk, things could've been written better here but i do like it in general. never left me not swooning every time i picked it up to read
this. was. so. fucking. cute.
The story ends very abruptly. I was just getting reaaaly into it and then there was the epilogue. A bit dissapointed to be honest. But overall it was a quick nice read.
