Rezension von AlinDas Buch war echt witzig und entspannt für zwischendurch. Die Mischung aus Gay Romance, Comedy und Magie hat mir super gefallen. Besonders die Dynamik zwischen Cole, seinem Bruder und seiner besten Freundin war mega unterhaltsam. Ich liebe dieses Banter zwischen Figuren. Die Story mit den Feiertagen fand ich richtig cool und originell, auch wenn es zwischendurch mal etwas langweilig wurde und es ein paar unnötige Konflikte gab. Die Audiostimme hat aber alles wieder rausgeholt. Insgesamt ein richtig spaßiges Buch.

Und weil es eigentlich keine bessere Kombination auf dieser Erde gibt als weihnachtlichen Kitsch, habe ich keine Sekunde gezögert, dieses Buch zu lesen, nachdem ich es auf TikTok gesehen hatte. Wenn wir ehrlich sind, hatte ich keine allzu hohen lyrischen Erwartungen an dieses Buch. Ich habe mit einer seichten, unterhaltsamen Romance mit einem Hauch smut gerechnet und genau das bekommen. Der Humor war toll, die Charaktere im genau richtigen Maße quirky und die Weihnachtsstimmung hoch. Das war die perfekte Einstimmung auf die kalte Jahreszeit.
