Reviewed by Raphaela Das letzte Einhorn macht sich auf die Suche, um herauszufinden, was it all seinen Artgenossen passiert ist und trifft dabei nicht nur auf den Magier Schmendrick, sondern auch auf gefährliche Kreaturen und ihr übel gesonnene Geschöpfe. Ich liebe den Film und hatte wirklich gehofft, dass das Buch dem Erlebnis noch etwas hinzufügen kann. Es gab ein paar zusätzliche Szenen,ein verwunschenes Dorf, mehr über die Herkunft von Lir, aber alles in allem war es entäuschend. Vor allem kommen alle Figuren deutlich unsympathischer daher und der Schreibstil ist trocken und seltsam uninspiriert, daran ändern auch die Gedichte und Liedtexte nichts, die der Autor ersonnen hat. Eines der seltenen Beispiele bei denen ich den Film tatsächlich besser finde, als das Buch auf dem er basiert.
