Rezension von AnjaEin Fantasybuch ohne Magie und ohne Wesen jeglicher Art 😄 Nur Menschen. Und Enemies ist auf die Spitze getrieben. Aber es ist sauspannend. Leider ist es ab 3/4 für mich unfassbar stressig gewesen, weil ein Damoklesschwert über der ganzen Geschichte hing auf einmal. Das unfassbar schöne: alle Beschreibungen von Umgebungen, Menschen, Emotionen sind so bildlich geschrieben, dass es in dieser Hinsicht wundervoll war, das Buch zu lesen.

So I was recommended this book my chatgpt (I'll be going there from now on) and I'm so glad I started it. Loved everything about it. I loved loved Lara, from the start when she said, **“I will be the next Queen of Ithicana. And I will bring the Bridge Kingdom to its knees.”** till the end when she said, **“You need me because I am the Queen of Ithicana. And it’s time my father was brought to his knees.”** This had me so invested that I was thinking about it while doing the dishes, eating, in the toilet and even in the exam hall! So yes, definitely a five star read. This book SERVED everything I like. Arranged marriage? Check. Betrayal? Check. Secrets? Check. Historical vibes? Check. Strong FMC? Fucking Check. I will be diving right into the next book.
