Sadly not an easy read. sometimes characters felt underdeveloped in my opinion and it took so long to even get to a point. E.g. part of their classes were explained in depth but then it did not really continue those thoughts after they "finished the subject". I kind of wish they focused more on just one main subject instead of jumping from one to another. I also think the outcome/ end was kind of predictable...
Lies sich sprachlich (in OV/EN) nicht so flüssig lesen wie andere Bücher. Geschichte an sich ist spannend und die Charaktere sind interessant gestaltet. Mal sehen wie sich der zweite Band gestaltet…
Well, this was not an easy read.
As much as I liked it at the beginning, the book become more and more demanding to read with an increasing number of pages. We experience a lot of philosophical discussions about space, time and magic, which I mostly skimmed over because it did not feel relevant. And while some of this theoretical stuff did pay off in the end, it was not necessary to feature it in full length.

The characters were all fully fledged out, and while I have a strong distaste for one of them (Callum), it was always a light in the darkness when a chapter was written from Libby's perspective. In that regard, the six perspectives are well-balanced.

What I gather from the bad reviews here and on other platforms is that nothing really happens in the book. That's true: Except for two events (three, if you count the invitation to the Society at the beginning), the book is more a thorough (and well-done!) character study than a suspenseful novel. You have to be aware of this fact, otherwise you'll be disappointed.

I gave "The Atlas Six" four stars, because this book is unique in itself, even if it does not fit my taste in all matters.
Zum Teil etwas langatmig. Aber eine spannende und interessante Geschichte. Mit verschiedenen Charakteren - keine wirklich Sympatisch aber das ist ganz gut
