i found it a bit dry, it's not very emotionally engaging and so it took me a while to get through but the way this novel talks about time is absolutely fascinating. i mean, every time death is mentioned, the author writes "so it goes", because to a trafalmadorian death isn't really an existing concept. the person is very much still alive, it's just us humans "stuck in time", unable to see them in their alive state. i forgot most of the time reading that it was a novel about war because of the way it talks about war. definitely recommend just for its unique story telling.

It was hard for me to get into the plot during the first 50-70 pages. The idea of a novel dealing with traumatic incidents experienced through time travel screenshots is quite unique and interesting. Because of the fact that the Book has only 200 pages, you can give a chance and see where it goes:)
