i‘m a big fan of greek mythology retellings, but this one was meh. it was easy to read and some parts were intriguing, but i just wanted to finish this book at some point. psych was 70% of the time insufferable and eros, being the god of desire, really only felt desire for psyche imo. not love. 2,5 ⭐️
I would lie if I said that this book didn't entertain me, I'd just appreciate it if the auther informed herself about the things she was writing about for her next novel. On the other hand, who am I to judge - my favourite book is literally an illias fanfiction about Achilles and Patroclos making butter for chiron.
