Rezension von Ali GattoThis is such a great beach read for those who like more than just a meaningless "beach read". I honestly don't love all the cheesy romances with no substance but this had themes of grief, healing, and complicated relationships that made the cozy beach vibes and loving family dynamics that much better.

Rezension von Lisa lesajournalI have pretty mixed feelings about Not Quite Dead Yet. What kept me reading was definitely the mystery. I enjoyed trying to piece the clues together alongside Jet, and the setting created a great atmosphere. My favourite part, though, was the family drama and the way trauma shaped the characters and their relationships. I also really liked the medical aspect of the story and how Jet’s condition influenced the way she saw the world and approached the investigation. That said, there were a few things that didn’t work for me. The romance-driven sidekick felt unnecessary and often pulled my attention away from the parts of the story I was actually invested in. I also struggled with the fact that Jet was essentially an amateur investigator, which made some of the speculative leads feel a little less believable. And while I was deeply invested in Jet as a character, I was left feeling that parts of her personal journey remained unresolved. Overall, I enjoyed the mystery, the family dynamics, and the emotional weight of Jet’s story, but some of the narrative choices kept me from loving it as much as I wanted to.

Rezension von AndreaDas Buch gefiel mir am Besten von dieser Autorin. Ich gebe zu am Ende musste ich ein bisschen weinen 😭. Es hat mich zerstört das sie und Billy ihr happy end nicht hatten!! Auch die Storie war echt gut überlegt. Es war wirklich spannend bis zur letzten Seite.
