Rezension von Skye HawkinsRebecca Yarros nimmt uns auch in diesem Teil wieder mit auf eine überwältigende, wunderschöne und gleichzeitig niederschmetternde Reise. Meine Emotionen sind durchweg Achterbahn gefahren - gefangen zwischen Bangen, Hoffen und dieser unbeschreiblich tiefen Beziehung zwischen Violet und Xaden. Das Ende... oh Gott, ich habe etwas Angst vor dem nächsten Roman.
Rezension von toninobody talk to me… I haven’t sobbed that much, over books/characters, in a hot minute the first few chapters were kind of hard to read but I eventually got into it… last few chapters were definitely the best!! Especially the ones with different povs… It still kind of felt like one big love letter from xaden to violet! His love for violet remained even while he was slowly losing himself… and he was trying so hard to prove that he could do it even when he knew, that he eventually had to go… These small slithers of hope broke me AND Knowing that, even tho violet does not remember anything about marrying xaden, he probably remembers everything and still had to walk away after finally choosing something for himself, definitely hurts more than it probably should… safe to say that I am scared for what is still to come…

Rezension von Sally Saad⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ COMPLETELY UNHINGED AND UNWELL Just closed Onyx Storm and I am officially no longer a functioning member of society. Five stars is genuinely not a high enough rating for the level of emotional damage Rebecca Yarros just inflicted. If you thought Iron Flame had high stakes, this book takes the entire world, throws it into chaos, and somehow keeps raising the tension anyway. The writing is so intense that I genuinely felt like I was suffocating alongside Violet half the time. Between the desperate search for a cure, the collapsing wards, the politics, and discovering an entirely new side of the continent, this book never gives you a second to recover. And XADEN RIORSON. My chest actually hurts. Watching him deal with the aftermath of becoming venin while desperately trying to protect Violet and hold onto himself was genuinely painful to read. The tragedy of their relationship in this book??? The devotion??? The suffering??? Absolutely unmatched. Xaden continues to be the blueprint even when the man is literally fighting for his own soul. The squad dynamics remain everything to me. The loyalty within Iron Squad had me emotional every five business days and Andarna continuing to be an absolute icon with zero filter genuinely kept me sane during the darkest parts of this book. But THAT ENDING. Those battles. Those sacrifices. The deep channeling. THAT cliffhanger??? My jaw dropped. I stared at my wall. I questioned everything. And now I genuinely do not know how I am expected to continue my normal life while waiting for Book 4 because Rebecca Yarros absolutely cannot leave us like THIS.
