Rezension von fátima Fast paced book. The chapters feel like reading brief diary entries; they are short yet extremely intimate. The “full” picture that the author hides between the lines is left out smartly for the reader to piece together. Loved the family dynamic exploration weaved with a background of Lagos in a very much real world where one should be aware of tribal culture, police corruption, the so called “pretty privilege” and family loyalty.

Rezension von PaulineEasy read, even if it mentions some serious topics. Loved the crime aspect of the story but even so the interesting and complex family dynamic of the protagonist.
