Lady Susan was eventually published posthumously in 1871 and has since become a classic alongside Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, Mansfield Park and the rest of Austen's cherished works.

Rezension von CarinaAs much as it pains me to give Jane Austen such a rating I cannot fool myself. I did enjoy Lady Susan, mostly for Lady Susans letters to Alicia. She was a weird creature but funny and very artful. I didn't particularly enjoy the way Jane Austen wrote this. This letter style is not for me. All in all I found the story rather pointless.
