Ich dachte am Anfang das es gut wird. Aber dann ist es richtig schlimm in die falsche Richtung gegangen mit der Dynamik zwischen den beiden er hat sie ohne Respekt behandelt und richtig schlecht behandelt.

I would respond the exact same way (I mean not the exact same way but you know what I mean). This plot line, in my opinion, was absolutely genius. The moment she woke up in that hospital I had no idea where the plot was going to go but I loved every single part of it! "He smells like forbidden temptation and impeding disaster. Divine but so utterly wrong." -Eli King is utterly obsessed. Again from God of Malice, we got bits and pieces of the story line for both Eli and Ava, and we were gobbling up crumbs and then Rina hits us with the plot twist and I was like - I AM HERE FOR IT! The possessiveness, the obsession, the caring, "Touch her and die" (I mean the restaurant scene alone was iconic!). But he really truly cared about her, the hate this book has is honestly awful…. Their story was beautiful, but I also loved Landon’s sooooo what’s that say about me?!!! -And you know Rina Kent is elite in dirty talk, people. You know. I know. IT'S KNOWN!! "Ride me, Mrs. King. I just finished God of War by Rina Kent ⚔️ and wow, I’m so glad to be back in the Rina-verse. It feels like coming home to chaos, darkness, and intensity in the best possible way. I’ll be honest — I started this book once before and ended up DNFing it. At the time, nothing could compare to God of Fury. That story completely consumed me, and I wasn’t ready to move on. But coming back to this now? I’m so happy I did. This book is dark, emotional, and addictive in that signature Rina Kent way. The characters are messy, magnetic, and so deeply human beneath all the armor they wear. The dynamic between the leads is pure tension and obsession — enemies to lovers, hate and longing twisted together until you can’t tell them apart. Somewhere along the way, I realized that sometimes love doesn’t heal you — it just makes the scars mean something. And that’s exactly what this story is about. If you’ve read Rina’s other books, you know her world isn’t soft. It’s brutal and beautiful all at once. And God of War fits right into that — a story about survival, surrender, and the kind of love that hurts before it heals.

First of all, I am so in love with Ava and Eli. I loved that Ava was so fiery and talked back all the time. It didn’t feel like it belonged to the legacy of gods series. The timeline was a few years later and it felt like a standalone. The characters from the other books in this series nearly didn’t show at all. It didn’t feel like the end of a series. But if Rina says it needs to be this way - its good like this because it’s her series and she can do whatever she wants. I enjoyed the book and Ava is one of my fave characters. I am so sad that the rinaverse is over but I am so excited for her ice hockey book era OMG

4.25⭐️ as I expected this book made me sympathize with Ava a lot. Doesn’t excuse her behavior in the other books but at least it explained them. I knew I’d like Eli but I was extremely surprised in how their story unfolded and generally how he treated her in the beginning and through the first two years… kinda crazy. Anyway they fit well together and I overall liked it. Loved the glimpses we got of the other couples and especially of the parents. Cole was a bit dramatic but still I believe it made sense. Not my favorite out of the series but it was still a good read.
