Rezension von KalypsoIch habe mir, vor allem Anfangs, mit der Sprache doch schwer getan. Und Victor hat mich unfassbar genervt, mit seiner jammernden Art. Die Handlung und "das Monster" sind vollkommen anders als ich erwartet hatte, was mich zuerst irritiert aber dann total fasziniert hat. Victor und die Kreatur und ihre Beziehung zueinander waren extrem spannend. Während dem Lesen war ich ein bisschen abgelenkt durch mein genervt-sein von Victors Art. Aber rückblickend ist es wirklich ein unglaubliches Buch, absolut zurecht ein Klassiker und Mary Shelly ist einfach die GOAT, dafür dass sie als junge Frau, zu dieser Zeit, ein solches Buch verfasst hat. Es steckt so viel drin über Menschlichkeit und Mensch sein, Hybris, Verantwortung, Einsamkeit, Vorurteile, Trauer, Verzweiflung und Schuld. Man muss das Buch einfach mal gelesen haben!

Rezension von SofiaGenialer Klassiker der perfekt in die Herbst- und Halloweenzeit passt. Ist für Klassiker Verhältnisse auch sehr schnell gelesen und behandelt tiefgründige Fragen über Schuld, Passion und Wahnsinn.
Rezension von Marsidanot actually that scary but so beautifully written. loved all the descriptions. the slowly moving plot was actually enjoyable. i’ve seen a lot of reviews here saying the middle was boring but i disagree. it represented victor slowly accepting his fault and it was interesting to see how he progressively got more and more scared. only thing that annoyed me was how he was constantly ill!!! get a grip man
Rezension von Hannah Frankenstein ist ganz schnell zu einem meiner favourite classics geworden!! Und es ist auch eins von den Büchern, bei denen ich mich frage, warum ich es nicht früher gelesen habe. Ich habe jede Seite geliebt! Die Stimmung und Atmosphäre war großartig, Frankenstein und sein Geschöpf super spannende Charaktere. Ihre Geschichte war auch viel emotionaler, als ich erwartet habe und ich konnte gar nicht anders, als mitzufühlen. Ich habe es absolut geliebt und kann es nur empfehlen!! Frankenstein ist für mich auch ein Buch, was mir noch eine ganze Weile im Kopf herumschwirren wird.
