Reviewed by Ein Herz spricht Staub Ein Buch, von dem man einst glaubte, es könnte einen verrückt machen, wurde geschrieben, um genau das zu verhindern. Es soll verhindern, sich verrückt machen zu lassen, sagt die Autorin selbst im Nachwort ihrer Geschichte 'Die gelbe Tapete'. Das Nachwort und die angehängte Biographie der Autorin ist überaus interessant und mindestens genauso spannend, wie die Geschichte selbst, die mit ihren knapp 50 Seiten doch unglaublich viel aussagt. Der Schreibstil ist schlicht und kurzweilig und beschreibt die Gedanken einer Frau, die wegen Depressionen in einem Dachzimmer ausruhen und gesunden soll, welches von einer gelben Tapete geziert ist, die unglaubliche Muster in sich birgt, welche sich des Nachts sogar verändern zu scheinen. Man verbietet der Dame das Schreiben und jegliche Anstrengung und sie tut es heimlich, weil sie ihre Gedanken über diese Tapete, die sie einerseits fürchtet und andererseits mit beinahe krankhaftem Interesse studiert, niederschreiben muss und möchte. Diese Geschichte ist kurz aber grandios und ich kann sie jedem empfehlen, der sich mit Geisteskrankheit und mit Fehlbehandlungen beschäftigen möchte oder der eben auch einfach mal etwas ganz anderes lesen will, aus ebenso noch einer völlig anderen Zeit. Für mich haben sich daher die 14,90 für dieses kleine Buch wirklich gelohnt.
