All I am gonna say is that this book shattered me

I’ve read Magnolia Parks pt1 and Daisy Haites pt1 and I wish I could say I was done with it all, but guilty pleasure made me read “Daisy Haites and the great undoing”. Shaking my head constantly since I started reading it. WHY does a book titled “Daisy Haites” talks about the pathetic uber-human Magnolia Parks all the time ??? Why does Daisy, a character I’ve grown to like because she has some self respect and knows boundaries, stops disliking Magnolia, a girl who toys around with all her close male attachment figures ? There a so many loose ends that the authors tries to tie together on the last few pages, it’s insane. Suddenly the flowers that where send to Daisy make a comeback in the last chapter, after being forgotten in the middle part of the book. Then an aunt shows up and threatens everything and it’s forgotten for a few chapters? And what was that Sex Tape Plot and the re-kindling romance of Christian’s parents about ? Also the book is full of stereotypical stuff. “I hate girls, they are this-and-that.” All the girls are tiny and need protection of the big muscular boys. Sex is used as a filler when the author seems to be running out of ideas for conversations. The two stars are for Daisy, who seems like a badass and one for Julian, because he was an interesting character (art lover, thief etc) before the whole Magnolia stuff.

3.5 ⭐️ I really liked it while I read it, but never wanted to pick it up

I thought it in MP2 and this book sold me on it I am a MagnoliaxJulian girl!!! Maybe it was just refreshing, because honestly if Parks and BJ don’t figure it out I just can’t continue reading about it. So I loved her with Jules. Felt like they where actually getting to know each other instead of just being onoff and on ego trips to make the other jealous. I will say the part with Daisy and Tiller was a bit to long for my liking but it was worth it! How cute are Christian and Daisy
