Caught Up

von Navessa Allen

Format:Softcover

Nico 'Junior' Trocci knows Lauren Marchetti is off limits. She is sweetness and laughter, whereas Junior exists in a world of violence and depravity. Men like him don't get to have women like her. It's why he pushed her away back in high school and kept his distance ever since. But when Junior looks Lauren up online, he discovers the shy, bookish girl he remembers is gone. In her place is a strikingly beautiful woman whose social media is filled with scantily clad pictures of herself and a connection to a nearby play club. Junior's innocent curiosity quickly turns into a dark obsession. Watching Lauren from a distance isn't enough; he needs to make her his. Lauren is intrigued by the mystery man who keeps showing up at her club, who tempts her white-hot desires. But as their flirty online messages stir up a deeper form of connection, Lauren worries she's developing real feelings for this brooding stranger. --

Caught Up by Navessa Allen This book had me hooked from the very first pages! We’re thrown straight into the action with Junior killing someone, and I immediately wanted to know more. Even though it’s the second book in the series, you can easily read it without having read Lights Out first. We follow Junior “Nic”, who works for his mafia family, and Lauren, a camgirl. Their dynamic, chemistry, and all the tension between them were so entertaining to read. And the spice? 🌶️ Definitely delivered! But there’s more to the story than just spice. Dark secrets, suspense, and some unexpectedly emotional moments made this book even better. I may have shed a little tear, which I honestly wasn’t prepared for. 🥹 Overall, I really enjoyed this one! The ending was satisfying, the characters kept me invested, and the story had a great mix of darkness, romance, and emotion. Definitely worth the read! Definitiv lesenswert! 📚

⚠️(might contain light spoilers)⚠️ Damn..... A sweet way to end the second book and hook me so hard I wanna cry because I have to wait until I can continue with the 3rd book (8 days to be exact, but details...still too long). I looovvee that it has developed into a big friend group which the story plays around, it's just nice. I am deeply enjoying that. Caught up/ Rush in itself was great i liked it was a current up and down which keeps u hooked (but still different than in the first book and impossible to compare). The storyline was great this whole Childhood thing and stalking which developed in what it has become is, at the beginning I thought it might end badly for the story, but I was absolutely proven wrong. Turns out I really like Navessa's writing style and I can't wait to get into the last book of the series.
