Rezension von lenalovesbooksEin unterhaltsamer und tiefgründiger Liebesroman! Roisin und Joe sind schon seit über 10 Jahren ein Paar. Jedoch läuft die Beziehung seit einem Jahr nicht gerade super. Die Veröffentlichung der neuen TV-Serie von Joe verschlimmert die Situation noch mehr. Hat Joe wirklich Roisins pirvate Geheimnisse ohne Erlaubnis in die Serie eingearbeitet? Und immer mehr beschleicht sie das Gefühl, dass er sie betrogen hat! Das wunderschöne Cover gefällt mir aufgrund der Farben und der gezeichneten Personen. Die Atmospähre wirkt sehr entpsannt und einladend. Mit dem unterhaltsamen Schreibstil der Autorin hatte ich am Anfang etwas Probleme. Die Handlung verläuft sehr schnell und man muss gut aufpassen, um mitzukommen. Nach einigen Seiten habe ich den Schreibstil jedoch geliebt! Ich habe schon viel gutes von Mhairi McFarlane gehört und dieses war mein erstes Buch von ihr. Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht, wie sehr mir dieser Roman gefallen hat. Er wird definitiv nicht der letzte von ihr sein! Ich war begeistert, wie viele unvorhersehbare Ereignisse geschehen sind. Durch die Idee, dass Joe ein Drehbuchautor ist, wurde sehr viel Spannung erzeugt. Es war sehr fesselnd, Roisin bei ihrer Aufklärung zu verfolgen. Dieser Roman verbindet Unterhaltung, Humor, Liebe, Betrug und toxische Beziehungen. Am meisten haben mir jedoch die tiefgründigeren Gedanken und Gespräche gefallen. Oft bleiben kitschige Liebesromane an der Oberfläche. Hier konnten tiefe Gespräche und analysierende und authentische Gedanken überzeugen. Besonders Roisin mag ich wirklich sehr, da sie eine positive Entwicklung durchgemacht hat. Sie ist mutig und hat sich ihren Ängsten gestellt . Fazit: Ich bin sehr begeistert und würde mir sogar eine Fortsetzung wünschen!
