This was my firs Agatha Christie book that I finished. I started one but couldn't get past the first 50 pages yesterday and was recommended this one as one of her top selling ones. Definitely a fabulous read. I tried guessing who it was, and failed miserably. Even right up until the end - still failed! Such a twist in the ending that I did not expect! Wonderful book.

All in all it was a good book. I certainly couldn't stop reading throughout - and the resolution was quite nice as well. However, some parts felt like deus ex machina which is why I have to deduct a star.

An exciting mystery classic. I had a lot of fun trying to solve the murder before the end. Perfect for getting into the genre.
