The End of the last book of the Divergent trilogy was killing me. It was so damn heart-breaking, can't get over it. Can't imagine how I should start a new book, my thoughts are still with Tris and Tobias. And I'm so sad but on the other side a little bit happy too. Just because it was the perfect end for this trilogy and Veronica Roth wrote it so damn good. There wouldn't be a better end! This is the best and perfect end. After Allegiant I have a new favorite trilogy/series.

Even more shocking than Insurgent in comparison to the movies. Notes: - Tris and Tobias broke my heart in multiple ways - as did many other characters and things - Tobias please find your peace - Peter is such an interesting character - I feel like most characters were more multifaceted in this book - but all the back and forward was sometimes annoying - it actually makes a lot of sense both for Tris character and the message of the books that she died, it’s still extremely sad - the whole plot and characters are soo different from the movies - overall a great conclusion, it definitely has its weaknesses and was maybe a tad too long, but still heartbreaking Quotes: - „From one tyrant to another. This is the world we know now.“ - „I fell in love with him. But I don't just stay with him by default as if there's no one else available to me. I stay with him because I choose to, every day that I wake up, every day that we fight or lie to each other or disappoint each other. I choose him over and over again, and he chooses me.“ - „To me, when someone wrongs you, you both share the burden of that wrongdoing - the pain of it weighs on both of you. Forgiveness then means choosing to bear the full weight all by yourself.“ - „ I belong to the people I love, and they belong to me--they, and the love and loyaty I give them, form my identity far more than any word or group ever could.“

I remember the first time reading this book. I remember laying awake in my bed in the middle of the night; I think I was around 14 at the time. I remember crying a lot at the end. This time I didn‘t cry but there were tears in my eyes. It was interesting to learn about the outside world. Nevertheless; I had many questions regarding world building and I believe that there could have been more depth to that. All in all I liked this book - this series - very much and although - no, probably BECAUSE- the end shatters me, it has a special place in my heart. Most books have a foreseeable ending; this one for sure doesn‘t belong to them and maybe I like this the most. Otherwise Allegiant would have become just another ending, just as it mostly always ends.

Triss' life was a lie. The world she knew, with its clear divisions and boundaries, is in fact completely different. She decides to find out the truth with the help of her friends and her brother. When she finally crosses the forbidden border, she realizes that even her enemy is not the one that she thought. Oh love, this book was a roller coaster. I liked it much better than the second book in the series. I rediscovered that suspense I had with Divergent while reading it. I also came to like Tris and Tobias more (thankfully!). They showed some good opinions and were overall quite likeable.^^ We are in a completely different place during this book than we were in the first two ones. I feel like it's almost too different. You can barely tell that it's all the same series if that makes sense? It would have been a five-star if that one traumatic event hadn't happened. It was SO UNNECESSARY. It made me cry and I couldn't enjoy the rest of the book.

I've read the book in one day, I just couldn't stop reading nor crying.
