immer noch süße story, aber irgendwie wiederholt sich alles etwas zu sehr

Hat sich alles ziemlich in die Länge gezogen

Loved it nearly as much as the first book. Felt like I was 16 again.

Okay this was easy and fast to read as well. Though I didn't like it as much as The Selection. I didn't think Maxon was much OOC, as some say, but America pissed me off so many times. How could she be so arrogant as to not be able to make up her mind between Aspen and Maxon and then get jealous and angry when Maxon began to like Kriss. Like...what was she thinking? He'd wait for her patiently to make up her stupid mind while he HAD to choose a wife? Of course he would try to find an alternative. I was happy when she finally told Aspen off in the end though because he was creepy as fuck in my opinion. I didn't like him at all. Poor Marlee though... and poor Kriss. I really like her and hope she'll get a happy ending as well.
What annoyed me again was that the competition was almost non-existend. I loved the assignment of holding the receptions. In my opinion they ought to have much more of these tests to prove themselves instead of just hanging around the womens' room day in day out. They all talk about a difficult competition, but it really isn't. At all. All they do is wear beautiful dresses, eat luxusious stuff, have parties and woo Maxon.
Definitely gonna read The One because even though America is kinda annoying sometimes I want to see everything play out nicely, mostly for Maxons sake though.
