Yoshiyuki Sadamoto

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto worked as an artist on the team at Gainax. He is best known for the character designs of the series “Fushigi no Umi no Nadia” and “Neon Genesis Evangelion,” and also handled the artwork for their manga adaptations. His work additionally included package design and storyboarding. In 1998, he directed “Kare to kanojo no jijou,” an adaptation of the manga of the same name and a romantic comedy produced by Gainax. He left the studio before the series was completed.
